LED instrument lighting and alarm replacement. - Toyota Scepter, 2.2 L, 1993

I'm tired of the disgusting yellow-green backlight. It was decided to replace it with white, and highlight the arrows in red, changed all the backlight lamps in the cabin and trunk to LED modules. At the same time, since I made out everything, changed the alarm, there was an old wildly buggy Centurion, it became Tomahawk 9010. I spent several evenings with a soldering iron. The result in the photo. (Don't kick for quality - fotal on the phone).

It was:

Mayfun is excellent, I had one, and the appearance and functionality and sound - everything is super!

I am also very glad, the current with the arrows was worn out ... I glued the diodes to hot melt glue. in summer it is normal, and in winter it started to flow from the stove and glued the arrows))

In 2000 I met the alarm (it cost me 1500)))
There are two points to which you need to pay attention:
1) Illumination of the arrows, I, unknowingly, made very large holes for the diodes, and for a long time I could not fix them there, i.e. to. there is sooo little space.
2) It is imperative to cover the front parts of the devices with something during work. I didn’t close it, I splashed it a little with glue, then I was tortured to scrub it off.
3) In time, I did it myself for a very long time, tk. first time. Then he did it to a friend, they decided not to bother with the arrows, it took about 15-20 minutes to tidy up. Here is a short report: www.drive2.ru/cars/nissan.../288230376151820788/#post

Good luck and patience, if you have any questions - write, I will answer with pleasure.

This is a very cool decision - if hands grow from the right place, then this is one of the first things that everyone should have - normal illumination of the panel and floor in the cabin! At the weekend I want to crank this tuning =) Is the price of the question really in 2000 met? What about the time? There are tips where you can think about how something or something in the next. once did it differently?

the tidy has changed!) the signaling was accidentally not a centurion xanta?

the tidy has changed altogether, I myself did not expect such an effect, as if the car had thrown off for 10 years ...

Hello! Illuminated with small diodes, 3 per arrow, inserted parallel to the arrow axis. The side arrows did not work well to highlight.

Hello, how did the arrows light up?

H

V

I don't remember any particular problems.

H

Is it convenient to solder there?

V
VovanNumberOne 06.12.20

I soldered one diode for each button in the block.

Hello, how can I change the climate in the block? The tidy is more or less clear, but the climate is a mystery.
