Appearance changes - Toyota Chaser, 2.5L, 1998

Once I wrote about what I made cilia for myself, I did it, but I didn’t manage to finish the job, because one of the eyelashes broke.

And just the other day I decided to finish what I had started. But again.
I’ll write everything in a word.

We started with car wrapping

Next, we apply fiberglass and apply epaxid:

We wait until everything is dry and take off

we get the following blank:

Well, then everything is like everyone else's - we putty, equalize, primer, paint and this is what happens:

In addition to the eyelashes, I decided to modify the lattice (to walk as they say =))
I was not going to do anything beyond the natural, I just wanted to cut out the middle and insert an aluminum mesh there.
Cut out:

since at the very top of the grille are the main fasteners, it was decided not to touch it, but simply to close it up. But how? I found a way out easily - I just filled it with foam)

Further, according to the same scheme) we

We prime

And paint

I stuck the net into the grate, and this is what happened:

It's as simple as that. There are not many final photos, I'll throw it off later.

Special thanks to comrade Sergei for your help! Without it, the end result would not have been smooth and well painted)

K

it turned out cool, it will be necessary to try it too) though I have never dealt with putty, etc.) I don't know if it will turn out no) can you give any advice?) or is it better to prime and paint from the masters?
