МенÑем некраÑивые резинки, на краÑивые. — Toyota Corolla, 1.3 л., 1998 года на DRIVE2
Even when buying a car, the service showed me the condition of the rear silent blocks of the front levers. Which evoked nothing but memories of ancient mummies. Both rubber bands cracked, and the left one, in my opinion, had no connection with the metal ring at all.
The master of good deeds said that it is still possible to travel, if not quickly, in the direction of the market for silent blocks. Well, I took note of everything that was said, came home and climbed to look for something, where you can put this, in order to forget about these rubber bands, once and for all (during my use of the car).
I looked in the direction of the original, but evil people on the forums scared that after 20-30 thousand km they would again turn into mummies. And about the Chinese and Korean substitutes, they said that they could only get to the market from the service, in short, a vicious circle.
And then lo and behold! I wandered into the site of the Novosibirsk association, or whatever they are - Polyurethane. Racking my head with the search system, sorting through the numbers of spare parts, I find that they have magic silent blocks (though at not an interesting price), but painfully flattering reviews about their products went.
Gathering up strength, defeating the toad and fear (I ordered for the first time, and was afraid that they would not get into the levers, but return it was far away), I placed an order for 2 things. After a week of shenanigans, the cherished, beautiful, red silencers were in my "dressing room". The next day, a replacement was made in the service.
Since then I have already skated over 20,000 km. And the red rubber bands under the car are still as good as new. In general, I advise everyone, taking into account one severe BUT! Parts with metal parts (outer rings) may not be exactly the size of the landing openings.
They themselves write that they say the sizes are made one to one, or a little more, to compensate for the wear of the receiving part during the extrusion process, but there are cases that they do not fit together. But if they fit ... :)
PS For owners of big-eyed: the
number on the site www.polyurethan.ru - 1-06-413
And then I, at one time, was tired of calculating compatibility.
Considering that the previous ones almost decomposed - the rubber base moved away from the ring, then after installing these, the car began to go where I needed :) In general, the choice fell on them precisely because they are "indestructible" (relatively of course), and not because that they somehow change the stiffness of the suspension.
Recently I also came across this cantor. and decided that as he pressed, then put polyurethane))!
Have you noticed the increased rigidity of the suspension with them? .. although you changed only 2 salein blocks in total ...
Yes, it may be cheaper, but generally speaking, the cost of these differs from the price of the original by 2.5 times, but they narrow it down much longer, if you also include the costs of installation work, then the benefit to your loved one is for polyurethane. I would buy myself a set, and change all possible rubber suspension parts for polyurethane, but where to find all this is unknown.
rubber write that is softer than polyurethane. It is also necessary to change the sb soon. I thought they were cheaper (But you have to pay for "eternity".
Yes, I thought about all the nodes, but I could not even find the front stabilizer bushings, without talking about other suspension parts with rubber bands, in short, polyurethane things are in my front levers, and support the rear stabilizer. The rest is all rubber, waiting in the wings.
I just read in the Nismo club ... that a mandatory alteration in drift cars is to replace old rubber bands with polyurethane! Which has a direct effect on rigidity!
well, of course, this is meant when all the nodes with elastic bands change!)
I also put polyurethane in the suspension, but have not yet tested how the behavior of the machine will change, it winters in my garage :)
my staff members from the factory have already been 90 thousand =) I think I will soon attend to such a procedure, here I am looking for options =)
How are the silent people doing? fellow owners of Fords are already frightening with rubber stratification =)
Where I ordered, mostly Japanese. But the quality and price really paid off. I have already traveled 50,000 km on them - the flight is normal.
stratification of rubber on standard = from the factory of the silent. I still have norms, but this fact worries. Damn, I just can't find such = (
