If you plan to apply that, you must leave it. There are few of them in good condition. And such things do not deserve the fate of dust collectors. They should bring joy when you press the gas pedal. Something like that, I guess.

There is only one problem with carbs, it is a constant adjustment with temperature deviations (+/- 10 C, sometimes 5 C is enough).
So for everyday driving, the edge, how uncomfortable ...

I do not advise, better ITB inlet to the injector, much more sense, and even better, remake the engine into 4A-GZE)
