Replacing the timing, MSC and ... - Toyota Mark II, 2.0 l., 1993
In general, the timing for replacing the timing came another 20,000 km ago, but I continued to drive ... Finally, money appeared, and the rollers whistled, and oil pressed under the oil seals, bought original spare parts and went to the service:
Timing belt - 1470 r.
Timing belt bypass roller - 1350 r.
Tensioner roller - 1850 rubles
Front camshaft oil seal - 170 rubles.
Front crankshaft oil seal - 260 r.
Timing replacement work - 2600 rubles.
Along the way, the power steering drive belt was replaced. his condition was well, just deplorable:
Power steering belt - 230 r.
The valve stem seals were also replaced, again the original, you should not save here:
Oil scraper cap (24 pcs.) - 1880 p.
Work on replacing MSCs - 1300 r.
Well, taught by years of experience, the lower radiator pipe was replaced, and it turned out not in vain, it was already falling inside (let me remind you that in the summer the upper radiator pipe burst on my road, because it just rotted). The branch pipe was supplied by a new original.
100% a question will appear, why did I change the MSC. I will create a separate entry for this later, but for now we are waiting ... =)
Mileage: 278,000 kmHere STE is a very necessary business There is no money, otherwise I would also do (((
Did you change money in Nims? Damn, I have a todo sheet for a 1-in-1 car in your footsteps - change the stove, get caked, change Moscow time with straps, all rubber pipes, a gas filter, etc. :)
Have you given a check? :) I'm just a maniac, I collect all receipts for all work on my car, so that there are fewer questions when selling
Firstly, they made me a 15% discount, which made me very happy. Further 1300 for replacing the MSC is generally a penny.
During the renovation, I was present nearby, I watched. The master did everything with knowledge, i.e. did not think, but did, as if this capacity is not the first time already disassembled.
Clear answers were given to all my questions.
When assembled, the engine would not start. The foreman immediately found the problem (the ignition was knocked down) and fixed it. In general, I have no pretensions to them, if for other works the price tag is not cheaper another time, then I will go to them. I can't say anything else, tk. I visited them only once
