A little polyurethane - Toyota Camry, 2.4 L, 2007
Back in May, the stabilizer knocked. The stabilizer struts were intact, but the bushings were broken. Well, well, they replaced it. It took 4 months and 15000 km. The sleeves are dead again. In order not to constantly spend money on this consumable, given that the native sleeve costs 500 rubles and 4 sleeves are 2000 every 4 months, it was decided to unsubscribe to the hero city of Vladivostok in order to purchase polyurethane bushings! they cost 200 rubles + 200 for delivery. A total of 1000 wooden and semi-permanent bushings. Why is that?
After the polyurethane test on Rav-4, I noticed that the bushings have been running for the second year and absolutely nothing becomes them. So we make a choice in favor of polyurethane.
Ordered, paid, in a few days will come and will be happy :)
Well, somehow it didn't work out for me.
All the same, in St. Petersburg the roads will be better than in the Urals once so at 10. Come to us. The sleeves die for 10 thousand :)
The question is removed from the agenda, as I drew attention to the inscription on the box :)
rubber and polyurethane are certainly different things, but on a large scale. For example, on my Rav-4, I put polyurethane EVERYWHERE where possible, with a specific purpose. The difference was felt, but not "heaven and earth", but just a slight difference.
Here you will not be able to feel anything, no matter how hard you try. You just forget that the bushings need to be changed. These poly bushings are almost forever
Well, rubber and polyurethane are completely different things! does not such a replacement entail consequences? when driving, the difference is not felt?
