We call him a "pig". The advantage is not wedge at critical angles.

Then I also assembled it without a bearing, I simply pressed the sleeve into the ball instead of the needles - I still did not understand why they were there.

we have such a "pig" in the drain on the rear cardan ... there is nothing there. permanently 2 crosses ...

Does this cardan have something between the double crosspieces? Centering ball, like a jeep?

There is a ball on a needle bearing. Otherwise, this whole structure would be dangling.
The only question is where to buy such a nishtyachek? :)

I will try to do it. And about what will not work, so see my BZ further on this topic and all the pokatushki on these cardan shafts. They work! And how they work;)

No, there is nothing in between.

Sorry, but the photo is accidentally not - people do not believe that in such a configuration the cardan will work, moreover, according to the statements of those who dismantled such cardan shafts, there should be a ball with a needle bearing between the cardan crosspieces.

Yes, there is a boot that holds the grease.

An interesting piece of iron. I have not seen this yet. Is the spline connection protected by some kind of anther or what?
