The budgets were the same, but swap is a minimum of time in the service, the engine resource does not start, there is no need to tune the motor, + the potential for further tuning. Therefore, there was no long thinking, since Toyota has a wonderful 3S-GTE motor and it was also installed on the mr.
For half a year I was looking for and buying iron:
1. 3s-gte 3gen mator with MR 94g.v. 140tysh run with turbo, box, hinged, flywheel and basket.
2. Ketai cooler kit with pipes and pshikalka a la achcoes.
3. 5ziggen 2.5 "release (quiet forward flow)
4. Brain
5.Fuel pump Walbro 255lh pump w / kit.
6. Purchased timing belt, rollers, oil seals, gaskets… all original.
there were no special problems with replacing the engines, fastening the iron - well, it's like "Lego" to assemble, unless "according to tradition" two weeks the mechanic is wiring)))) I didn’t really get into the electrician, but I’ll say for sure that it’s not a matter of simple plugging of plugs limited. In addition, there were no resistors for the injectors and for the fuel pump on the engine spit - the injector resistor was twisted off the Honda, and the fuel pump resistor was not installed.
Since my gearbox is "atmospheric", I had to leave the "atmospheric" clutch. Kaneshna's hope was that the tractive link would pull 240 horses, but on the very first day of the trip the tractive link said "you were plowing, goncheG" and stinked at it)))
7. An incomprehensible cantorka F1 RACING was found on the ibey - a kemik, they promise that it will hold up to 340hp… we'll see.
Well, in principle, the whole SWAPO, it was not painful, not scary, but very interesting =)
And according to my impressions: an interesting feeling, when your old, up to a bolt, a familiar car starts to go somehow ... byyystro !, completely differently ... "new character".

gen - this is the "generation" (generation) 1gene of misunderstanding where it was put, 2gene 3s-zhte - until 1993 on seliki 180s, mr-ki - 225hp, on mafe, 3gen - after 93rd, seliki 205th, mr-ki - 245hp, on "map", there is also type 3,5gen - these are mators from Kaldina on map and "coils" - 260hp.
