Automatic transmission sensor! - Toyota Carina ED, 1.8 L, 1986
Began to boarder Automatic gearbox sensor, the one that blocks the ignition if the box is at speed! Everyone knows perfectly well that with the automatic transmission you can start only from two positions P-parking and N-neutral! So there was a problem at the P-parking lot not always started up the first time! I took off the sensor, it turned out that all the grease in it had coked up and formed one sticky mass that did not allow the slider to work normally, plus the copper contacts were as if in a film! I collected everything and Voila, even the box began to switch softer! And from the outside, the whole body was smeared with silicone so that nothing else could get inside!
