Trump has increased the compensation Fund for the victims of the September 11 attacks.

U.S. President Donald trump on Monday signed in Washington a law that increases the compensation Fund for the victims and relatives of those killed in the tragedy of 11 September 2001.


Money from the Fund will be given to the emergency personnel affected by the terrorist attacks and their families.


At the signing ceremony in the White house were invited firefighters, police officers and other emergency personnel with their families. In the Rose garden, where the ceremony took place, attended by the relatives of the victims from injuries or diseases and complications that developed from them after work on liquidation of consequences of the September 11 attacks.


Previously, both houses of Congress by a majority of votes approved the bill. Thanks to him, the amount of the Fund in the next 10 years will grow to $10.2 billion, the Fund are directed to medical care and compensation to the liquidators of the consequences of the attacks and their families.


11 September 2001 terrorists "al-Qaeda" (banned in Russia) seized four U.S. passenger aircraft. Two of them crashed into the twin towers of the world trade center, a third airliner fell on the Pentagon and the fourth aircraft was aimed at Washington but crashed in Pennsylvania. The victims were about 3 thousand people. 15 of the 19 extremists who attacked the US were Saudi citizens. Riyadh denies any involvement in the attacks.
