So that day came and my "roof" of protection from vibrations and noise waited!
After spending 5 hours on this business and having great pleasure, I went to listen to the changes)) The sound has clearly changed for the better) and musically too! There is a result, I thought, but now they want to "paste over" the remaining parts of my car, namely the engine and interior bulkhead, the torpedo and the bottom with arches! More will be ... I will see it through to the end!
Everything else has already been glued with his own hand)) well, not entirely with his own hand, my dad always came to the rescue, who is also interested in this business) And together it is more fun that an anecdote, then some kind of story brightens up the day and even radio Rocks can often cheer us up))
On the roof I took 3 sheets of vibroplast 2M and Shumka itself about 1.5 sq. m.
Disassembling the roof was not difficult, but I can advise:
- decided to glue the roof - do the floor at once (so that you don't dismantle the same thing 2 times)
- unscrew the sun visors, front cover, interior cover, 3 handles, behind the ceiling, hold on to three latches. That's all, in principle.
- to get the dismantled roof out of the passenger compartment, remove the rear seats
- dismantle the factory soundproofing (I had to suffer, as the Japs firmly glued the felt)
- we glue it along the stiffening ribs of the STP (dampening vibrations), and then with the actual noise.
Unfortunately, I forgot my camera with me and I can't put the whole process in pictures.

I glued the rear from the trunk side for now, but I want to glue everything. Although the front ones are still a mystery to me)) Outside, how and how to glue them? I will search / read / do))
I want to make a noise for a long time ... my hands will never reach and my dad is not such an assistant) but I would start with the arches! I just don't like how they make noise ((
for me, so only the arches and sills represent some acoustic discomfort when driving in the rain.
on the market approx 80 UAH leaf m2, how much is there? a friend can bring me from Kiev, but I don't see the point, the difference is not big
