Heart transplant - Toyota Corolla, 1.6L, 1998

Heart transplant - Toyota Corolla 16L 1998

Tired of vegetables and it was decided to replace the motor! The motor was expected 1 month, as the current arrived in Moscow, I immediately took it. The external condition was normal. The motor was brought and put in the garage. Thanks to Vanya with his Vago))
Then I had to buy the necessary parts:
1. Long drive with suspension
2. Motor support from the timing
belt 3. GURA reservoir and hoses from ae101
4. Intake pipe
5. Any slurry, oils.

The question was behind the exhaust line, since I did not want the stock, and my friends had a current Buddy Club Racing Spec 2 on sale, I took it. This issue is a separate issue, in Japan it is prohibited for use on public roads, only on race tracks. I was glad that he came with a flute)

Wonderful Friday evening, at 7 pm I came to a friend's garage to uproot the car. To begin with, it was necessary to release the coolant from the car, wearing a gas mask, everyone was released through the valve on the tank.
They drove the king into the garage and the process began, at 4 o'clock in the morning the old motor was dismantled along with the box.

It turned out that the support came without a bracket, and it could not be attached to the new motor, the next morning we went to disassembly, and they did not find anything there ((When we returned, we decided to modify the old one, cutting off one ear. Everything stood up like a dear)

At 3.55 in the morning everything was connected, assembled and ready to launch. The new braid was spliced with the old relay shield according to the wire colors in 15 minutes.
4.00, Yegor armed himself with a bottle of Coca-Cola to extinguish if something catches on fire! Turn the key, start! Started up)) everything works smoothly, though the idle speed was 3 thousand revolutions. Then it turned out that one vacuum tube had to be plugged.
Everything is smooth, idle at 950 rpm, a terrible roar, because in general there was no exhaust route, only the exhaust pipe. Well, in the end, the new engine was washed until 7 in the morning.

In the following days, we figured out the rest of the wiring, otherwise, instead of a reversing lamp, the dimensions lit up, put the release, and so finished the little things. In general, everything became as if it was standing there, everything works!

Then there was a long process of servicing the motor, and replacing consumables (candles, wires, etc.)

Many thanks to Diman, Egor, Diman, Vanya, Valera and of course Katyusha!

And the checkpoint left the same, came up, if so what? or took it along with the motor? and changed the engine control unit itself? what kind of hemorrhage can occur with wiring? and with all sensors connected? can I get a little more details?

Hey. Died 4zz-fe on a Corolla E110, 2001 onwards, you have to buy a contractor, but you don't even want to put one like that. Advise something)))

boxes on all 4A motors are interchangeable. I put mine. The brain changed, right along with the wiring.
