I changed the brakes due to the fact that, despite the fact that the car seems to be not powerful, but it accelerates in the city to 160 km / h very quickly, and due to the fact that the average speed in the city is 80-120 km / h, these very regular brakes very quickly overheat and therefore do not slow down!
Through a car service of friends I ordered contract hubs (assembled) from 2ZZ from Vladik! And it turned out that they brought the wrong front hubs, and therefore they changed the rear drum brakes to disc brakes from the beginning, and replaced the parking brake cables, and then after 2 weeks the necessary front hubs arrived, when they were changed, everything became very good.
But almost immediately with the installation of the front hubs, a problem arose that when braking the steering wheel beat and the car stopped jerky, but after the groove of the discs everything became great!
The difference is noticeable, they heat up longer, but the problem remains, they still heat up! It is possible to exchange for sports discs and pads, but very expensive!
There are downsides: 14-inch wheels don't fit! you must put at least 15! stowage in the trunk of 15 inches, but it does not stand forward, you can put it back! Well, again, I don’t know what to attribute to minuses or pluses, the fact that there are twice as many pads in the back, respectively, twice as much costs!
But in general I am satisfied!

in the city ... ride 1nz 160 = () joker! "very quickly" is an illusion.
On the 2zz engine they are not enough for sure ... in theory you should have enough!

Well, on the all-wheel drive versions, there are not beams in the back, as on mono-drive ones, but levers)) maybe they are certainly far from those that once stood on tsyvik tupers, BUT they still work better than any beam 100% There was an idea to throw out the beam and put the levers there naturally without gear%) but it remained an idea :) Maybe the author will bring it to life if he is interested in the obedient behavior of the car)
I had exactly the same idea for a long time. completely change the brakes and hubs with 2zz and also wanted to put the rear levers with the 1.5 all-wheel drive version. all are better than a beam :)) but all in doubt.

Excellent revision. Competent tuning should start with the brakes. Can't you tell me if there are single or double piston mechanisms 2zz ahead?
