Replacement of brake discs and pads - Toyota Celica, 2.0 L, 1993
How cool it is when there are brakes))) Now I know this for sure, because before stupidly I didn’t think about how it might not be (well, almost) brakes ... And for the first 2 weeks I slowed down with the engine and gently braked with the pedal, in general PPC. Then I went to the shopping center Kuntsevo and, having bypassed half of the market, I found a very competent guy who has a lot of things in stock, but that which is not available can be ordered + a lot of all sorts of nice things. Generally bought discs, pads and went to replace. So far, only, unfortunately, only in the front, since one rear disc is missing, they should bring it on the weekend - we will put it.
The work was carried out in the Avtomagistr service. Not a bad service for not very serious jobs, i.e. it is quite possible to carry out MOT, replace the brakes, tire fitting. Budgetary and fast enough. But for the guys, the organizational moment is lame, I signed up for 11.30-12.00, drove up at 11.50 somewhere, in the end I stood there for another 1h 40min, as if akhtung -_- But when they drove it, the master showed everything, changed, lubricated, claims no - I'm happy with everything.
Upd.
Finally finished off the rear axle. They installed new discs, pads, went through the caliper and replaced the piston. Everything, the brakes are finally over. =)
Listen, what kind of CDs? Are they specifically for a blind virgin or just picked up the size?
My right rear creaks periodically, although the pads are new!
Thank you, wheels specifically for her, picked up by the body number.
Doesn't the caliper wedge? I also have a right rear sreb, but it definitely wedges, so I tempered myself a repair kit for the calipers.
