So, I finished my swap from FE to GE, there won't be a photo report, at first I wanted to get confused, but then I started to run into all sorts of difficulties and gave up on it. So if you have any questions, ask and answer (I did the whole swap myself).
The very first thing I advise is that it will be packed with everything necessary before the swap (I am writing with the prices at which I got it all):
1.Engine with a scythe and a brain (note that it is better to look for a scythe as a whole, and not just for engine control, because that the Europeans have one braid, and the Japanese have two separate ones) 18 000 rub. + delivery 3000 rub.
2. Flywheel (obligatory with bolts), disk and basket (for manual transmission), some drill holes of FE flywheel. 5000r.
3. A coil, if you have a coil-distributor wire on the FE in the distributor and, accordingly, a coil-distributor wire (It is unlikely that it will come with a motor). I found the coil in the garage, the wire is 200 rubles.
4. Immediately decide how you will do with the exhaust, if the engine is Kaldinovsky, then it is better to immediately find a spider from selick and pants. Spider 2000r., Shtany 2500r. (Special thanks to Dmitry from the forum) Everything is in the most idyllic comp.
5. It is better to buy new pillows right away.
6. I picked up the air filter case from Karina with a right-handed (211) with a 4A-GE engine 1000r., The pipe came with a moving.
7. THE MOST IMPORTANT thing is beer, without it our nerves would not have stood (when parsing with braids) The budget spent has not been calculated - but it is certainly not enough!

On the work done: They
decided to install the engine without removing the box (it was a mistake), of course, they removed the crankshaft pulley, unscrewed the power steering tank (its tubes are interfering), and began to put it in, after two hours the engine stood still, the result: both anthers of the internal grenades were torn ...
Then they took electrical circuits, they definitely needed the Legion book on Karina E, and on Kaldin, but in the Kaldinov book the colors of the wires do not match.
From personal experience, I advise you to take both braids, go home, lay them out on the table and follow the scheme, splicing and ringing each wire, by the way, immediately expect that the wires must be lengthened, since Kaldina's braid comes out from the other side and it will not be enough!
And so the car started up, started working with the exhaust, bought two front pieces of the exhaust system from GT-FOUR because of the flanges, they have the same beginning with Kaldina, then they advised me to find a spider, ordered and realized that now I would need another flan, when everything arrived, I realized that the other end of my pieces (from GT-FOUR) came
to my intake pipe, and began to cook, in general, I made the first piece (up to the resonator), and decided to try the whole back part to leave the old one, I cut out the lambda mount from the old pipe and welded into a new one, in general it seems to me that there is enough exhaust.
Well, that's the principle and that's it! Rides like not bad, until I can not understand as ice, polishes up to 4th gear!
The only thing that I did not finish was I did not connect the speedometer, until there was no strength or desire, the Japanese and Europeans have different connection schemes. How do I add.
