1st serious results + sculpting - Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, 2.7 l., 2000

By this time (winter 2008), I already perfectly understood that mine was a SPL, but not an EsKu. But the power for serious cuts was extremely small, just ridiculously small (even 1 kW was not available) At that time I already purchased a USB BassMeter (a device for measuring sound pressure) and it was possible to adjust the boxes normally, as a result, cut. raised to ... in my opinion 141 dB, but I simply did not want to go higher :(
In this regard, I decided to look for the possibility of acquiring powerful usi for reasonable money (because we do not have so many SPLs in the Far East, let alone equipment for In general, 2 monoblocks MTX TA81001 (1.5 kW per 1 ohm each) were ordered from America
for me, of course, they were just monsters!
Happiness was full of pants when I finally received them (already in the summer of 2008)
I also bought Conders 5F Stingers, then I was still sure that they were good :)))) although in fact, if you take it for MTXs, then it really can make sense in Conders, tk. these mustaches have separate outputs for the conduit, i.e. it is not put in the gap between plus and minus

That year I was a little not up to the competition, but I still decided to go: I went to EMMU without changing anything and without even preparing (even without MTXs) I took the 2nd in the ESPL.
MTXs have already come to the SPLKlub - I decided to redo the boxes a little, it was three days in my opinion. I removed the raised floor, threw out the conduit, did something with the wiring, and tried to make airports (then they were just coming into fashion :)) although they turned out to be miserable to eerie (I also specially painted them in golden color :)))), but nevertheless, they gave an increase of about 1 dB!
In general, at home, in the garage, the sensor was 145 + dB, at competitions in Thermlab - 144.6 dB. As a result, the 2nd place in the absolute: (the opponent blew as much as 147 dB, thereby setting a new DV record) I barely found one photo since that time and install All the same, on time I decided to upload everything to the Internet with a description, otherwise for a couple of months and in general I'll find hell :) here is a photo:

by that time I had already managed to make many other cars (one of the reasons why I hardly ever did my own): to friends and clients, even something like a "show car" to a local auto center, but I will probably tell about this later.
All this time, I was constantly surfing the Internet every day in search of something new in AZ, interesting installations, solutions, etc. As a result, I really liked the tuning technology called "sculpting" in America.
I decided to try it - the first job was the gas tank flap (MTX logo), the second was the fists on the spare wheel cap. For the sake of such a thing, I even bought a cap, without which I drove safely all this time :)))
Attention such tuning is robust, many people generally ask about the hatch " and that he was so regular? "or" wow, how did you squeeze out the metal like that ?! " :)))
here is a photo:

With the hatch, it was pretty good ... it turned out only from the 3rd time, and all because I decided to take it out for painting, and with SUCH forms it is unrealistic, too small size, but in the end I gave it away for painting and ... everything seems to be it turned out ok :)
Then the cap - well, I didn't see much point in doing it for painting (and even more so in this case it would not work out 100% decided to use good old anti-gravel :))) it looks great on the car, the detail turned out super-duper (even the nails are visible :)))))) I still want to put some kind of face on these fists, but so far my hands do not reach, but I will definitely do it. at first this was exactly the idea

already in the fall I came across a digital voltmeter stinger - I immediately figured out where to put it and how to put it :))) I really feel sorry for them nowhere, but then I did not rush to buy them: (((in general there was an idea to buy such 3- 4 pieces and put on each VCL + batteries, in order to quickly monitor the system at all its main points. But I hope this winter I will buy 4 more pieces, like I found similar ones where you can order. panel one is like this:

By the way, I did it in general quickly, if the shpakle did not dry for so long, I would have managed it in an evening. And so in two.

Well, about fiberglass, this is understandable ... that is, you fist into plasticine?) And then how to do the face?

p
patriotru 09.12.20

blank form (plasticine), then fill the mold with resin, stick it to the cap, skin it out, paint it and ... voila :)

Can you write detailed information about the cap and the binzobak lid in a personal note?
