Put on the cruise. - Toyota Corolla, 1.6L, 2008
Well, finally, the long-awaited order with cruise control came. Everything cost me five thousand rubles. For the 1.6 on a stick, in addition to the switch itself with wiring, you also need a twisted cable. This twisted cable costs 3500. Lever with wiring and one and a half bolts. In general, there is a twisted cable on the car, but it does not have a cruise connector and wiring for the radio buttons on the steering wheel. And I plan to put buttons in the future. Those who have a robot only need a lever with wiring and bolts. In the existing twisted cable, such machines have the necessary connectors.
The installation process itself seemed very complicated. You have to remove the steering wheel, and I never did that. In fact, everything was simple. First, download the instructions from here www.toyota-tech.eu/legacy...-E9170-01%20AIM%20903.pdfon how to put a leather steering wheel on the Auris. It describes the process of removing the steering wheel. We do not need to disassemble everything so thoroughly. The process begins by disconnecting the minus from the battery. Next, go to the salon and use the TORX T30 screwdriver to unscrew the pillow. Then, with the key pulled out, block the steering wheel. Then we unscrew the steering wheel itself and pull it off. I didn't need any special strippers. Do not neglect the advice of the instructions on how to return the steering wheel to the same place (stick masking tape or electrical tape on the steering wheel cover and the steering column cover). Next, carefully use a small flat screwdriver to separate the two halves of the steering column cover and remove them. Then we change the twisted cable and assemble in reverse order.
In general, the whole process took me forty minutes. I did not take photos of the installation itself.
I'm happy with the end result. It's cool to drive not to step on the gas pedal and not think about maintaining speed. After resetting the speed, press the RES and the machine itself picks up the desired speed.
The next step will probably be tinting with Shumko front doors and shelves. And as a consequence, the installation of speakers in the front doors. By the spring I will buy a new VCL and the audio system will take on a finished look.
Great, I want to install it for a long time, but I only managed to place an order for Cruz control now, I'm waiting for it to come! Thanks for the link! Pyatak for you!
A new twisted cable replaces the old one. In addition to the lever itself, you need a twisted cable, a wire connecting the lever with a twisted cable, two bolts and a plug. Unfortunately, not in Russian. But everything is clear there. In the instructions it is important to look at the pictures. The rest can be guessed.
Not bad, even very good. And what does this lever with a twisted cable connect to? And there is no website in Russian, I'm not even good at English
There are no problems with dopes either. You go into the accessories and there is everything that Toyota offers as dealer options and not only. If you liked a detail from a car for the American or Asian markets, the way here is www.epcdata.ru there the catalog is more rugged. And you order on existential.
Understood thanks. If still this Exist dopa in the form of moldings and similar garbage distributed, then finally there would be no price
Oops, this is news to me, I resumed using the existential only a month ago, when I bought Matiz's wife, and before that there was a break of 2.5 years. Apparently they have changed something. Thanks for the info
I'm afraid it will be very expensive. It is necessary to change the braid of wires under the panel, the entire stove with the condenser, the control unit (buttons with the display), the brains of the control unit (they stand separately, and ours also have them).
Is it possible to upgrade the equipment from an air conditioner to climate control by replacing panels?
It turned out great. I'm also going to establish cruise control for myself, I'm glad that a twisted cable is not needed for MMT. www.toyota-tech.eu is a good site, I usually get information from mytoyota.su/
In this cable 84306-12110 .
And all from this page. www.japancats.ru/Toyota/P...B0%202%20%D0%B8%D0%B7%202
Lever, wire and two bolts are required.
understandable ... I also have a mechanic ... tell me the articles, why do you need a button cable?
I have a stirrer and a twisted cable is required on it. No replacement is required on the robot. On a car with music control buttons on the steering wheel, you also do not need to change it.
