Doing a Race - Toyota Corolla Levin, 1.6 L, 1991
Compared to other club cars, mine was just a jeep (rear barnaul springs are simply brutal!).
For a long time I did not dare to lower the car lower, on our bumpy roads it is not always comfortable and safe to crawl belly on the asphalt. But, I was offered a lower spring as a gift and I did make up my mind! Replaced the rear springs - the car went softer. Well, it is not surprising. The photo shows that the Barnaul spring is both higher and more powerful ...
True, the following problem arose: the muzzle became too tall. "It was decided to cut the springs. Having disassembled the struts, I found that the springs I got with the car were ninety.
Well, okay, there is a grinder, it doesn't matter what to cut :) I cut off somewhere a little more than half a turn.
The muzzle dropped.
But this seemed to me not enough, and the next day a little more was cut.
In total, I removed a whole round. While it suits me, by the spring I will buy 15 wheels and lower tires, I'll see how it looks, maybe I'll have to underestimate even more :) Price tag: 0 ₽
