music louder! - Toyota Corolla, 1.5L, 1990
I wanted to make a cool car out of the korolka (well, of course, it is not bad enough, but I wanted it to stick out).
Honestly, not all plans were realized - we parted with her pretty quickly.
In the back shelf there were some speakers from the previous owner, knocked out of a household stereo system.
I took larger coaxials, and began to squirm them there. I had to abandon the torsion bars and move the trunk lid to gas-oil shock absorbers. The result is a pretty good guillotine. But you don't have to slam. The shelf was severely disfigured by a cutting disc-attachment for a drill (there was no other tool then), and since it inexorably decreased in the process of work, and there was no other, only the most necessary cuts were made, the rest simply bent towards the trunk. Made "stands" for the speakers, because the shelf itself is not even.
It turned out something like this. Sounds okay. Looks nico too.

Already problematic. The machine is sold. And they are placed easily, just between the wing elevation and the sealing elastic they lie down and screwed :)

show me how I installed the shock absorbers, I also think to build them, otherwise the pancakes stick out 6 centimes above the shelf because of the torsion bars)
