Installing JBL GTO 938 + PowerAcoustik OV4-600 - Toyota Yaris, 1.0L, 2000
My wife made a present for the new year! Gave ovals JBL GTO 938 and PowerAcoustik OV4-600 amplifier :)))
I installed ovals in the rear shelf, (for now, in my native one) due to the fact that the shelf is small in size and has many stiffeners, the shelf does not make up and the sound is good enough. In the future, the modernization of the shelf.
The set is attached to the back of the seat. In order to fix the amplifier to the back of the seat, I put a sheet of plywood under the trim to fit the amplifier. It turned out well enough. See the photo below.
Kicx wire kit. Power put on the left side, acoustic on the right, so as not to interfere.
I did not install the subwoofer, so far there is no need. Time will tell of course :)
Prices are as follows: JBL GTO 938 - $ 90
PowerAcoustik OV4-600 - $ 110
Kicx wire kit - $ 40
This is the picture. See photo.
It's just that you just get hooked and away we go :) The main thing is to stop in time. I've always wanted good music :) Of course, this is a budget class, but there is no way for more.
In my case, it was a temporary option. These speakers are rather weak. Now they are with my wife in a Corolla, without a user. They play more or less, before that they were even worse. Again, this is until the extra money shoots out for something more serious.
friend how do you sound? just the other day I bought myself a GTO527 to sound worse than my own (((
The amplifier is working, be healthy :) You can connect to two, three and four outputs! For this money, look for something better and do not try! Works great! Of course, there are better options, but they also cost much more. I have enough with my head :)))
With proper installation, a sub is not needed! But you won't get good quality without good front speakers
