Choice of side lamps - Toyota Camry, 2.4L, 2008
I have tried many different LEDs for mounting in the envelope to achieve a more similar color to the native xenon. The bottom line is that the diodes sold today shine in blue (6000k) and they are not very compatible with standard xenon (4300k), clearly blue. But I found a better option.
Consider several types of marker lamps that I tested.
1.MTF Light T10 W2.1 x 9.5d
Bipolar
With built-in stabilizer
Illumination angle 180 - 240 degrees
2.MTF Light T10 W2.1 x 9.5d with Lens
With built-in stabilizer
Illumination angle 180 degrees
With lens
3. SHO-ME Pro 194
Beam angle: 120 degrees;
Working range of temperatures: from -30C to + 70C;
Conclusion: Having tested all the LEDs, I want to say that the closest in color to the standard xenon are the MTF side lamps with a lens (numbered 2), they will also be the brightest. Lamps number 1, their light temperature is 5000K. And lamps numbered 3, shine with ordinary blue light, 6000k.
My choice was the number 2 lamps!
