Parprize - Toyota Camry, 2.0L, 1987
Good day! It's time for my parprize with a hole above the devices =). There are few photos, I took them back in the summer, and did not take pictures of the process. I decided to make a black interior. I bought vinyl and, on the advice of a friend, began to glue it with a dragon (at least I managed to make the top to the strip). But before that, he also tore off the silicone with which the hole was sealed, melted it with plastic, then foamed it to raise it to the desired level. I cut off the foam exactly. I smeared it with epoxy in a thin layer so that you could putty on top. Putty and sanded. In general, I leveled the surface for further gluing. As already said, I glued the top with a dragon in parts, since it dries for a long time, and fixed it with superglue in the corners so that the vinyl did not slip. I did the bottom in a moment, it turned out well. Che I had not thought of this before. I often learn from my mistakes, which is expensive :-).
The air ducts were painted in metallic gray, for contrast, and because they do not look beige on black. After gluing the whole parprise, the idea arose to make the top of a sandy color, since I was going to redo the upper part anyway (do not wait until the dragon bursts in the sun and the vinyl is covered with bumps).
In general, I still have not decided how to do it.
BIG PLEASE your opinion in the studio: all black or sand top.
Here is such a hole above the tidy, filled with some kind of silicone, similar to frozen mucus :(
I soldered the frame from the pieces and filled it with epoxy with reinforcement from behind and painted it.
With a black top, which I successfully ripped from the dragon.
Sketch with a sand top.
Expenses:
black vinyl - 200 rubles.
paint in a spray + varnish - 280r.
glue spray - 560r.
vinyl beige - 200r.
dragon glue, epoxy, putty - were available.
Question: what else can be glued to keep it well?
Continuation:
In fact, it turned out very nicely live, unlike black, he himself wanted black until the last moment! I took a picture on my cell phone, but it doesn't convey all the beauty.
And this is a sketch with a tidy. True, half of the details are missing:
Both options are not bad, but depending on the overall design of the car interior),
perhaps more of course black seduces =)
Huge ATP for the place of purchase of vinyl)
We have vinyl. Also when I bought I bother looking for a long time. I bought it at the central market, without going into the market where there is a zenden near the entrance, the store is called a craftsman. By the way, there is also fiberglass and a lot of other things. Which parprize do you like best, black or two-tone?
It turned out well) Did you buy vinyl in our city? If yes, tell me where, please =)
In! Your first intelligible answer! As I had not thought before! But mine was still much darker. Here you hit the spot!
Why are you soaring your brain! You had almost the same color! So it won't reflect anything.
I can't write you messages (what crap)! Here I am writing here. I hope I found it! See what they are doing:

And I’m for black vinyl! Especially if you find strongly corrugated)
I read and understand that you and I are going the same path).
I will paint the panel as it gets warmer). I have changed the backlight twice already - I will change the third one. about the body kit and painting is clear)
Tight it myself! But he already tore off and pulled the top in beige, persuaded, many people liked the beige, especially the girls! It's just that I will have beige inserts in the doorway, and it all kind of goes together. The plastic is there on clips, you take off the watch and the air duct and you can pry it off with a screwdriver, but it keeps the infection well!
I'm for black! Did I fit it myself? How did I remove the plastic that goes horizontally along the entire torpedo ?!
Well, if the door is beige, then yes! Thank you, I want it in white, to match the color of the car, and the entire interior too)
