02/01/2008 The process of car restoration ... - Toyota Celica, 2.0 L, 1991
The purchase of spare parts has begun!
acquired a pair of fenders, hood, door, TV, threshold, headlight, windshield. It seems to be everything in order to turn the LEGO constructor into Celica ST -182.
But since I mistakenly purchased the left wing from the ST-185 Wide Body (you can see it in the photo)
then in my head there was a great idea to create a little individual that no one else has! and
away we go ... The search for the second Wide Body wing took a certain amount of time! It took about a month to collect everything I had in mind. I also found an RC-185 hood (just what I was looking for).
Further, the hope that there is not long time left and we will go (I counted on May 9, 2008), but no, during the assembly process, we found that the lower part of the body where the beam is attached did not reach and the beam with the stretcher did not fall into place, as a result, the master who did everything paid off and left the service, the second did not want to finish his work. While there were those people who took up the car, almost half a year passed and as a result we (in November 2008) went to the second TechCenter for further work with the car.
further painting, color bright red
as a result, at the beginning of 2009 we get the following form
further repair of the engine, steering rack and other little things related to the assembly of the car:
in the end, at the exit, we received a new car with all the new stuffing (engine, suspension, chassis, body)
The renovation was completed on 01.2010, then the photo session: look, read, rate! Mileage: 0 km

It was a pity to see a wounded bird, but now it’s a beauty, if only there are more discs ...
Question: are the front fenders from GT-FOUR worth?

Thanks! The wheels are already waiting for the summer R18 "later I'll post a photo, and the fenders are really from the RS-185 GT-FOUR Wide Body, the hood is from it!
