Tinted taillights - Toyota Corolla Spacio, 1.6L, 1998
It seems to me that the rear lights in pre-styling Spasska are too rounded, plus in our version they are knocked out of the general silver-black color scheme.
Therefore, for a long time I had been hatching the idea of changing the general appearance of the taillights, options: buying restyled headlights, varnishing native headlights, tinting with a film of native headlights.
Pre-styling lanterns
Restyled lights
Restyled lights would solve the 1st question (they are less emphasized by the internal roundings), but they are also generally dark red. It is difficult to achieve the desired result with varnish + you can overdo it. Therefore, the option with the film came up.
The film was chosen from the ratio of dimming / security, so that the lights shine brightly enough during the day and of course at night.
First we tried out the options in Photoshop. I wanted something in between these options:
So let's go:
We remove the lanterns (in Spasio this is done in 10 minutes - 3 nuts are unscrewed on each side from the passenger compartment and FSE!), We get such a picture.
We give the lanterns to the masters, because we do not have films in stock.
After a couple of hours, we take the pasted headlights and install them back. We get the result:
It seems to have worked out.
Yes, the "stop" above the glass will also be tinted.
And after that - repeaters on the wings.
Perhaps
this is also one of the advantages of the film.
If you get bored, you can remove it.
It shines almost without loss, in comparison, for example, with the headlights zakolhozhenny varnish, through which even at night you can barely unravel your feet ...
Soon I will post a photo.
