Another report on the rear brake bulkhead made earlier. - Toyota Celica, 3.0L, 1984
On the tenth attempt, they still sent me a repair kit for the rear calipers))
The repair kit for the rear calipers was not useful, an autopsy showed that I had already put them in order, apparently together with the front ones, but I successfully forgot about it. It remains only to change the pads.
At the same time, I measured the distance between the bracket mounting holes - 16 cm.
The parking brake pads were pretty worn out.
The rear brake discs are still in good condition, the soft pads do not wear them out.
For comparison, discs removed from Soarer - one with ventilation, one without. The dimensions turned out to be almost the same, the thickness is only a bit smaller for the whole one.
I decided to replace the pads with those that remained from the Soarer. compared to the new one, they can still be ridden a lot.
As practice has shown, when ordering a set for 700r, one shoe comes. I did not order the rest.
put used
Now comes the fun part. a set of rear pads for my brakes costs 1700r. therefore, as before, I took Dafmi's pads from the zazeli and cut out the shape I needed with a grinder. 350r together with a circle for a grinder)))
On the left are gazel ones - on the right are already supra ones.
And then all the supra)))
True, they still have to be sharpened in thickness, otherwise they will not climb. one and a half mm each. but it's generally fast. for all 4 pads 2 hours.
and everything is in place, everything works)))

Soon I think they will take up the rear calipers, there is one like a replacement.
So I think what to put there.

I came up with great pads!
Just a couple of days ago, the front calipers were treated with a seinsa kit, at the same time I waved the pads. I put kashiyama again, very surprisingly, but they do not creak now)
Moreover, the hub bearings have been replaced. She is happy;)
