And so ... with his own hands he destroyed the myth that there are so many differences between FE and FTE that it is easier to buy and swap FTE ... The blocks are similar like twins ... the only difference is that the aspirated air has three threaded holes under the filter ... everything else is identical ...
From the hinged ... power steering pump has a different configuration, because adjacent to the turbine ... to say that the intake / exhaust of the collectors are different, I think it is not worth it ... if you use a catalyst from FTE, you need a crank arm ... although I see it as more efficient to use the "direct" down pipe. They gave me the catalyst, so I put it on for now. Still, I did not touch the rest and left it from FE ...

The hardest part is the wiring ... I wound it with my own hands relying on intuition and diagrams from the starlet ... as a result, the car started up the first time ... however, the computer does not like the throttle position sensor (I have it automatic, and the brain is from mechanics ... the difference is one conclusion) and swears at the lack of a speed sensor (the speedometer drive cable has died ... and the sensor is in the tidy).

The 3-speed automatic easily accepted the excess power :) one problem, it constantly tries to switch earlier than it would like ...
