A couple of moments about the typewriter ... - Toyota Corolla, 1.4 liter, 2008

A couple of moments about the typewriter - Toyota Corolla 14 liter 2008

Here are the little things for which it will not work to create separate entries in the BZ decided to combine together

1) Pleases winter tires. There is a spike Cordiant Polar, it is not expensive, 195x65x15. All and sundry said that cheap, Russian, not high-quality rubber.
I can say that during the time that we had ice, snow, clean asphalt, almost no thorns were lost (at least I did not find the absence of them), and this despite the fact that I like to submerge and often leave traffic lights with slipping.
Rows in the snow just super) how the jeep conquered the snowdrifts this winter) I
also hold well on the ice, but the ABS often works on the ice, there were situations on the verge of an accident, but this is because of the ABS. On a local forum I read that people turned off the ABS for ice sprint, it was inhibited, as they said, just super)) many are now thinking how to make the ABS off button)

2) Usually the car is parked in the garage. But on New Year's Eve I was on the street) They noted NG at the arahis driver ) The air temperature was about -18 (I don't remember exactly), the machine started up without problems, but the message "Check the battery charge" popped up on the BC. As I understand it, there is no separate voltmeter on the Corolla, but it would not hurt)
Then this message was never repeated. Hmm ...

3) The frosts are tough this winter. The maximum temperature that I saw was -27, the Corolla started up without problems. And after the garage, and after standing on the street.
It is just bad that it is not additionally insulated and no noise is made, therefore it cools down very quickly when it stands.

4) All the same, the engine 1.4 kharoosh)) pulls the norms, pulls perfectly through the snowdrifts)) 95 gasoline consumption in the summer pleased - 5.5-6 liters was in the combined cycle.
And now, in winter, with my mode of movement, with hellish (by the standards of our city) traffic jams, it turns out approximately 9.5-10 liters =

5) Che's mileage flew faster than before ... in the middle of December they did scheduled maintenance ... 20tkm was run ... now is the end of January ... and the run is already 26tkm ... damn ... where do I go? I don't know ...

6) And the gearbox and clutch freeze very quickly. The pedal in the frost is how hard it is, like on a Zhiguli on a classic, probably =)) And warming up does not help ... as well as shifting gears harder, but here timely warming up of the car helps.

7) During the absence on the drive, we managed to lose the documents for the car - registration certificate, MOT coupon and father's rights, since my rights remained =)) everything was restored in just a week =) it pleases, and without involving connections ... class =)
