Tuning part 1: Intake - Toyota Celica, 2.0L, 1993
The weekend was very fruitful)
On Saturday I finally delivered a freshly purchased intake from Top Fuel Zero1000. Photos of the contents of the box and the quality can be checked out by the topic below.
The installation was quite simple - the first thing was to disconnect the crankcase gas hoses and the oxygen sensor from the standard intake manifold. Then the box itself, the air duct and the filter were dismantled. I was very surprised at how the box was fixed, the Yapas tried to hang it on as much as 3 bolts, one of which was head down through the wing, probably one of the strongest and most reliable structures in the car: D
Then they began to try on a new intake pipe, the dimensions of course are huge, sat down straight into the butt, there was still a support for it in the kit, but they did not install it, because then a hole would have to be made in the hood - the inlet turned out to be 7 centimeters above the hood level)
We slightly moved the battery, adjusted it - everything is ok.
Even the hood was closed) The whole installation took a little more than an hour with 3 smoke breaks (each unbroken and successfully unscrewed bolt had to be smoked))
It feels hard to say whether he added or not, but it definitely began to drive more vigorously, because the stock was cracked strongly and the air was sucked in, straight from the engine, and not as it should be from the hole in the wing. And, of course, an excellent velvet roar appeared from the hood, gave 15-20 horses to the head)))
Lech, and where did you get the high-voltage wires?
And this system got up at what time, did I forget something?
The last owner had put the wires, 2500 he had a check from Exist.
And the 7k intake itself was standing, but I took it from a person who did not fit on the Ministry of Railways.
The price in the store is 9600-10500 as you find.
Well, I wrote for the sake of laughter, that judging by the sound it gave so many horses)))
as the burgers write about selica: "looks fast" =)
Of course
I made fun of the horses :-), but it’s very interesting ... I had a "zero" at one time, but in our conditions I had to wash it every week, and this is not good ...
So I took it off after that ...
