replacement of timing, brake pads and something else ... - Toyota Progres, 3.0 L, 2001

replacement of timing brake pads and something else - Toyota Progres 30 L 2001

At 116,000 thousand he finally replaced the timing belt. It took 6,000 rubles for everything. Timing belt 970 rubles, drive belt 1670 rubles, two rollers 1000 rubles, two oil seals 350 rubles, they took 2.000 rubles for the work. Everything was purchased original, from Toyota. They did it quickly and without any complaints, at the same time changed the brake pads on the front wheels, pads from DJ. Another plus 2.000 rubles.
I must say that the worn out pads on Progres remind of themselves very intelligently, not with a creak or a squeak, but with a blinking of the parking brake light. For me, this began to manifest itself when the temperature dropped below - 25. The brake fluid dropped to the minimum level, and at low temperatures it obviously shrank to a critical minimum, here I was when braking and watched the warning light blinking.
By the way, not so long ago I wanted to revive the nafigation, I understood everything and that she was not needed in my village and that I would never need it in the distant future! But no, I was impatient! And the guys on the forum have painstakingly covered everything. In short, I pumped out, cut, consulted and prescribed everything much longer than playing with unnecessary functions :-).
The only useful thing I learned is that now the car sometimes speaks to me in a pleasant female voice in Japanese :-) and reminds me when I should replace those. liquids and other consumables.
Yes ... I almost forgot to tell you about the "fan writers", what it is better to see, I am attaching a photo. Do not ask about the benefits, everything is very controversial! Just wanted. What is Progres without "fan-shaped writers" ?! :-)
