Bulkhead engines - Toyota Carina E, 1.6 L, 1993
Actually, there is nothing new so far, so I will write about the past. Somehow, after refueling with benzene from my hands, after driving about 500 meters, the engine began to detonate and did not go at all, at first I sinned on the benzyl, I poured it from the tank, I filled it with another, tried and interfered, all to no avail. I thought that there was something with the injector, I gave it for diagnostics, one shot, he said that it was like I had something with the timing belt, in short, he just ripped off the money. I threw off my head, it turned out that the head gasket jumper between the third and fourth cylinders burned out. Since I have it hawala oil, I decided to make a bulkhead, changed rings, liners, oil seals and oil seals, I did it for about a month, since the parts came in parts, but this was in the summer, so consider the summer gone, since after the bulkhead it was necessary to run the engine in,Somewhere from 2 thousand the oil was at the level, then I started eating again, I sin on the oil caps, this summer I will try to replace it again, we can get fired.
Price tag: 8 000 ₽yes, I also eat oil, I think the caps too, recently the gasket has burned out, I'll change it in the summer, by the way, if it doesn't make it difficult, look at my magazine with the cylinder head. Need some advice!
There are even two of them, one Russian, the other Ukrainian mine, something like this
I don’t even know which ones to take now, I’ve already taken a denzo twice, the last time a TT, everyone has a brown insulator over time, gases break through the skirt and the insulator. On the forum they wrote that this is from the constriction of the candle, I already do not tighten too much When buying a car there were NGKs, I dashed off a lot of them, then put the denzo, when the insulator started naturally spinning in the skirt, put NGK back, I don’t remember what happened to them later, but I can’t find them. By the way, you are registered in the Karina E club, there is a lot of information, it is better to ask profile questions there, you don't even need to ask, so it's full and everything is already chewed up, you won't regret it)
Who can advise which candles? And then they seem to have to be changed, but I'm on time. And by the way, by what criteria can you find out that it's time to change the candles?
