Sand them, degrease them with a solvent, if necessary - primer and paint! It will be what you need! In general, if there is an option to cover it, then of course, cover it with black gloss.

I took off mine from the painter - for 3 years the varnish swam a little from the sun and there were traces. Grinder and special paste - and everything is clean and beautiful!
