replacing the fuel filter - Toyota Corolla, 1.4 L, 2003
decided to change the fuel filter.
at the stations, no one could help. yes, and with spare parts unas tight. what filters were on sale did not fit.
I went to Kemerovo to the Toyota Center, where the manager told me that the filter is not collapsible and that it is changing together with a gas pump, the
cost is about 30,000 rubles.
I arrived home and went to our Kulibins.
removed the filter assembly with the pump from the gas tank
there is no removable. these are hoses, we had to break them off together with the fittings, otherwise it would not be removed, even though we heated them. they are solid but fragile. they were afraid to break.
broke in these places
1 hose from the filter to the pump
2 return hose
3 gas pump
then drilled broken fittings from the hoses with a drill.
heated the hose and put on a new filter
once they did not put it on until the end, then with grief they pulled it in half and reheated it and put it on sharply.
the filter came up only from the avesis
price 2200 rubles plus work 500 rubles.
tormented for 3 hours
the bottom view
for 7 years, no one changed it because the hatch was not even cut open. the filter was clogged well.
this filter is only available on the English version.
sorry if I didn’t write it neatly, I’m just learning.
Was it worth changing?
I wanted to do the same thing, I even bought hoses, but then I gave up.
Strange! They also told me that only assembled ... I disassembled and changed everything nichrome without even breaking it in half an hour ...
127000 on the odometer, and it has never been changed. Fucked up and the car stopped going. I thought I'll get high on the machine, but no bleat I had to break down with me.
Listen, how did you get that fucking black ring off? Which keeps the beno pump in the tank. On pravopulki everything is bolted, then fucking not a single bolt stuck.
