ICE Capital - Toyota Corona, 2.0 L, 1994
Well, I'll tell you how I capitalized my engine.
After overheating of the contract (unregistered) internal combustion engine, there was a choice - either to repair it, or to restore the native one. I will say that after 4 years of wandering around the garages, there is little left of the engine, so a block with a piston (the rest itself was torn off on the sly - need). Having disassembled and defected the parts, it became a question, either to sharpen it under size 2 (the turner said, at the top of the pot we do not fit under the 1st ...), or to sleeve it, which is also unpleasant (heat transfer of the cylinders due to the difference in metals: steel and cast iron + to it and not 100% adherence liners to the block) will decrease in the already heat-loaded diesel engine in the summer. I decided on a sleeve.
The pistons were in perfect condition, the crankshaft was machined under the first (main and connecting rod). Standard-original rings, Set of oil seals (Avtovelt) - that's what got it wrong, well, about that later ...
He did it lovingly without haste. Every detail was completely restored and painted. As parts and money / time became available, I started the capital in the summer and finished leaving the garage after the new year, and before that I rode on an old internal combustion engine with a breather and gas bubbling into the tank.
With the gaskets, I got hurt, it's a shame…
greedy bought a complete set. As it turned out, complete… Immediately the main oil seals and the ring under the oil pump began to flow. My clean painted engine filled up where it could. I had to change to the original, this is so much effort / time of the
injection pump-peribran, the plunger and rollers were replaced. I did not skate at the stand (finance ...), I just stupidly went through, guided by articles from the Internet and the primer. I pressed the nozzles and adjusted the spray at 2x - left it as it is with opening at 135 atm
In general, starting the first time! After warming up and removing air from the cooling system, the diesel engine starts from half a turn in any state.
Here's something like this, judge ...
It's cool to dig in my engine when I sort it out in mine, I also do everything myself, although after my last climb I haven't climbed for about a year and a half, I just check the oil and that's it.
about! clean engine! Cool! Well done! Everything dries up on the street and I will definitely wash it all too!)
