Restoration and tuning - Toyota Vitz, 1.5 L, 2002

It took a long time to recover Witz after the worst accident. I did it in the garage of "Uncle Vasya", but they did it well. I decided to install new Depo headlights with Euro-light, I bought a lot of used ones. Immediately I decided that I would not restore the actuated airbag and the belts' squibs. Too expensive. So I decided to put new seats under the belts and a sports steering wheel.
The steering wheel was purchased by the Pro Sport Rally. Despite the negative attitude towards this company, the steering wheel must be said to be good. Very convenient for active taxiing. Only the paint peeled off the rim and got my hands dirty (I had it in leather).
A homologated UNP bucket was installed in the driver's seat, and as far as I remember, a Super Drive model from the same manufacturer. I also bought the belts Unp, three-point. Of course, all this is not a full-fledged alternative to a pillow and normal belts, but still.
I will immediately share my impressions of the seats. The bucket is of course a real thrill. Of course, it is inconvenient to get into it, and to reverse it too. But I didn’t regret installing it. And in competitions it is 100% justified. But regarding the passenger, my impressions are not so good. Standard seats in the RS (they are not the same as in the liter Witz) are more comfortable. Well, the quality of UNP is not up to par. At the bucket, foam rubber began to crawl out in the places of the windows under the belts on the back, the upholstery on the side was moving away.
What else has been done with Witz… Sparco pedal pads are installed. Relocation under braking has become very easy. Immediately after the purchase, I changed the HKS foam air filter to K&N. Immediately after the accident, I installed Koni Sport shock absorbers. Later, a limited-slip differential and 15-inch VSMPo forged wheels.
