Kapitalka cylinder head 2C - Toyota Corona, 2.0 l., 1994

Kapitalka cylinder head 2C - Toyota Corona 20 l 1994

So I decided to write about the capital of the head.
prehistory - antifreeze began to leave a little from the radiator When checking it turned out that cracks appeared between the valve jumpers
In stock there was a head from a 3ST-killed (valves in a bunch of distribution curve guides burst) - in principle, the head is good
After complete disassembly and troubleshooting, I bought a set of valves (current original ! -no auto-wilt, etc.) a
set of caps - "nok" yapia, guides (since the original is not in nature, I bought an auto-wilt)
Having checked the curvature with a metal ruler -did not grind it-everything is in an acceptable rate
Then I heated my head in boiling water and removed the old guides with such a drift (set from the basin)
Installed new guides For inlet they are 46mm long, outlet-50mm
They are hammered from the side of the camshaft so that they stick out no more than 18mm We
unfold the guides with a sweep of 8mm,
lubricating with oil, install new valves, smearing the valve plate with a little white paint
This is necessary in order to notice how the valve will come into contact with the head
seat.As a rule, when installing a new guide, the center leaves a little to the side - have to go through the saddle with cutters
Remove the layer from the saddle to a minimum, constantly checking it with a valve with whitewash
As soon as the result suits you, you can start lapping the valves
Dotted with paste (grain-80)
It is important that the lapping mark is in the center of the saddle
Lapping is done with a hose at the end of the valve
I use paste Resource
After passing the paste to 80, the grain follows 60 to 45, the final lapping with bronze paste
Assembling the valves on the head, install the caps (not to be confused with the colors of the caps)

The more I read, the more I understand that everything I do for my car is very little, even insignificant! Well done!

Seriously I got confused with the valves, I would not have enough patience, when I was going through my guides, it was necessary to change the idea, but it's summer in the yard, I need a car, I did not dare
