Take care of your lungs or changing the cabin filter;) - Toyota Corolla, 1.6 L, 2007
In general, it became a little fiddling :)
I found out how much the officials have to replace the cabin filter + filter, spat, went to the pit, bought for 21 cu. branded filter and went to change.
Nothing complicated really:
clear and so :)
we are looking for the right side of the piston, there is a mount. Someone has a bolt, someone has a clip like mine, if we squeeze the clip and push it out of the piston
there are plastic stops on the sides of the glove compartment. We squeeze these stops on both sides at the same time to pull out the glove compartment.
WARNING: DO NOT RELY ON THE BARDACH WHEN IT IS PULLED OUT, MAY BREAK.
took a picture when the cover was already removed. Nothing complicated, the plastic latch on the right is removed and voila - the cover is removed. Next, we take out the filter.
sobssno the filter itself that fiddled with :)
new filter. ATTENTION: refit with UP arrows.
Reassemble in reverse order :)
Result: I wiped the dust in the box and behind it, it took 5 minutes of time, the duyka began to blow harder + the smell disappeared :)
Mileage: 28,900 kmDeparture on it 28 thousand, but the smell appeared somewhere at 15ti. depends on conditions.
last week I replaced the cabin filter for the first time on a Civic ... the stove almost stopped blowing it out) now the beauty) the lungs are grateful)
