Soundproofing doors - Toyota Corolla, 1.4 L, 2007

Soundproofing doors - Toyota Corolla 14 L 2007

For this, an elastic foil vibration absorber - Kicx Exclusive 2 and a heat and sound insulator Kicx - SB-series were purchased. All doors were "rolled up" by Shumkov from both the outside and the inside of the door. SB-10 was glued to the plastic panels at the points of contact with the iron.

I was very pleased with the result. The rattling of doors is much less.
For 5 doors, a total of 17 sheets of Kicx Exclusive 2 and a small piece of SB-10 were used.
The size of one sheet is 0.6 * 0.45 m. It turns out that 4.59 m2 was laid. At the same time, one square meter weighs about three kilograms - the load on all doors was about 14 kg
. I am satisfied with the result.
As for gluing the roof, I don't see the point yet.

The factory soundproofing was very much even nothing, especially in comparison with the factory noise reduction HR-V in the form of plastic bags glued to some very bad thing.
