Fitting xenon under the new rules! - Toyota Carina E, 2.0L, 1995
Indeed, according to European laws, a car equipped with xenon headlights must necessarily have an auto-corrector for headlights and a washer!
Well, we will go the other way! Hanging a washer on the headlights will not be a problem ... AUTOCORRECTOR is a set of devices and sensors that allow you to manually adjust the headlights from the passenger compartment, but it must also react to the load of the car from behind! And therefore:
1) This system is a universal headlight range control system, which is used both for retrofitting cars with a manual corrector, and for re-drilling a car with an auto-corrector out of the side.
Automatic headlight tilt angle corrector, an ultrasonic sensor measures the position of the body relative to the roadway (the measurement takes place in the same way as for ultrasonic parking sensors - the signal is sent down, then received reflected, and the necessary calculations are made), which is attached to the body in the rear after the rear axis. the only condition for the location of the sensor is the distance from the sensor to the road should not be less than 250 mm, even with the heaviest load of the car.
Price - 8000 rubles.
Manufacturer - Hella, but analogues will appear soon!
2) It won't be a problem to find a headlight washer, it is now sold in many stores!
Price - 2000-5000 rubles.
Manufacturer - many different!
So no questions will arise ... you can see for yourself - the price of the issue is 10 thousand rubles (in the very near future this cost will fall, due to competition), but I am ready to pay for safety, and not put a halogen, with which you can't see a damn thing ...
Price tag: 10 000 ₽what for? after all, they clearly say that the point is in the headlights and only ...
Not everything is as simple as it seems ... you definitely need an auto-corrector and a washer! And it is an auto-corrector, and not a hydro or electric one!
and what is the auto-corrector for? what was the washer for? it is enough that on the headlight it was written DC and not HC ...
Elementary, you just have to open the hood! Or look into the salon ... but about the car or not, I think they will not know!
yes, everything is clear with the decoding, only how the cop finds out there is a corrector, it is not there, the washer is also understandable, although not all cars can see it ...
According to the rules, if there is xenon in the car, then there must be headlight washers and an auto-corrector! and also lenses, but this is not always the case!
And the decoding of the marking - that's it!

it will need to be explained to the cops why not ... there is a clear instruction ...
if the glass is smooth, why not?
I will put hella modules in the pro-sport headlights for my mom, I’ll put the headlights from the first generation Mazda 6 in my headlights ...
I wrote elsewhere, but I'll sleep here too;)
I'm Sensei =)))
Well, it seems to me legally possible, at least I will do it according to this scheme;)
Here is the law:
www.gibdd.ru/news/main/?20100220_ksenon
Following from it, to install gas discharge lamps, you must:
1 - Headlight marked D (DC - low, DR - far, DCR)
2 - Auto-corrector headlights
3 - Headlight washer
1 - Headlights Modules Hella, Pro-sport, etc., also headlights from another car, designed for xenon or separate parts from headlights.
Price: from 2000 rub
2 - auto-corrector Universal Hella ( 8XX 008 614-011 ) or any other company, as well as proof-reader from other cars ...
Price: from 7000 RUB
3 - Headlights sho-me, Hella, and many more ... (!)
Price: from 2000 rubles
That's all))) Well, except for the xenon itself;) So, in my opinion, xenon can be put on any car ...
the module is a module, and you insert it into the headlight, which already has a halogen marking ...
Yes) This is the same as what I wrote ... only the lenses are questionable, since not all cars with standard xenon had lenses ...
I wrote elsewhere, but I'll sleep here too;)

where can such be done? I have engraving not on the glass, but on the headlight housing, if only it was that simple ... I'm only for xenon ... I don't want to shoot myself (((
I think no one will pick the headlight and no one will get the module, and on some cars a fucking sticker on the plastic part of the headlight is glued with this marking ... and they believe it) so you can stick this one and not steam) its cost in the printing house will be 100 rubles per pair!
This marking will become meaningless if you simply remove the glass and make the appropriate engraving, DCR - and everything will become clear to everyone)
