Xenon, xenon ... - Toyota Aristo, 3.0 L, 1997
Boshchem prehistory: I decided to buy myself new lensed headlights - I bought them, they had halogen lamps in them, and there was no auto-corrector, but God be with him. I safely put the headlights on and installed xenon lamps there, drove myself and enjoyed life, despite the fact that the light of these headlights was European (the jackdaws of the light shone to the right on the side of the road) ...
But it was not there! Our wonderful "Leaders" came up with a law that xenon is "self-installed" illegal ... it turns out that by today's standards, the installation of xenon lamps is allowed only in those headlights that have proper markings: the letter D for xenon lamps, the letter H for halogens. After this law was issued to a wide audience, I looked at what I had written there, it turned out that my headlights were designed only for halogen lamps. :(
Gentlemen, what options for solving this problem can you suggest? (I still want to leave the xenon)
I already had an idea to change the headlight glass where these letters "H" are written to the glass with the correct letters, what do you think "scans"?))))
Yes, I would like to note that I would say the light is correct, no one ever complained that I blinded them with headlights.
I also had such a thought to take and polish this inscription, I could not find anything behind ...
And on the headlight housing itself on the back side (near the dipped beam connector) what is written?
It's just that I don't have anything written on the headlights on Drakosha, only on the body.
And on some models of cars with the native factory xenon installed, the garbage is complete - on the glass "H", and on the back on the body and "D" is present. So I would advise them to remove the glass and polish the inscription "H" on a clean one - and everything will work out according to our law at once :)
