Cooler for HOT PIECE! - Toyota Land Cruiser, 3.4L, 1983
When turning 36 wheels, the power steering turns into a very hot thing! ;)
This is why this mega-necessary device was ordered and brought - a radiator for cooling the power steering.
I would like to exclude possible ambushes in the garage to be sure in the swamp;)
I understand that! Competent approach to business! The input parameter (wheel size) is changing - you need to think about how to return the output (power steering fluid temperature) to the original one. Technical systems…)
well done!
He was not there at all! In the next blog topic there is information about the GUR who has arrived. The manufacturer GM says that up to 35 wheels without problems ... and then you need to turn on the brains :)
We decided to tinker with what came. It just turned out to have nothing to do with the original. Pure General Motors. Well, it will be more powerful. And for 40-ku air conditioning is not a problem at all - there is a complete KIT.
By the arrival of the left-sided gidrach everything will be prepared ... even the "candidate" :)
Mega-device. By the way, it is universal along the way, i.e. you can also try on other power steering.
The radiator also clogs.
But when diving into the water, immediately cool it down.
It seems to me that there is no better place. On the Pajero, there is also an additional one on the side under the grille. And on others
It remains only to figure out where to put it in ... And there is no place under the hood at all :(
On TLK 60, the tube is on the frame under the main radiator.
And this is certainly better
And I propose to consider another place:
- roof
- hood from above (as an intercooler is installed)
these two places are without electric cooling, only by air flow due to convection.
And with fans:
- at the feet of the navigator (horizontally under the glove compartment)
- instead of the main stove (and switch to the engine cooling circuit for the winter)
well, I definitely don't have a roof;)
but the rest of the options - you have to think :)
This is a real competent approach! How much does the device cost, where did you order it from? universal?
Installed on the right immediately in the grille.
Helped. But in my opinion it was somewhat narrower and longer.
I watched the guys on a Ford F-350, the very first one is also in front of the radiator.
