Sticking Shumka, putting on music - Toyota Celica, 1.8 l., 2000

Sticking Shumka putting on music - Toyota Celica 18 l 2000

The whole weekend was spent gluing the car with NOISE-VIBRO insulation and installing music.

The whole body was glued with a vibro solid from the inside (2 mm and 4 mm), splenitis was laid on top (10 mm). We also glued all the cavities of the doors and the niches of the side obshivok behind.

Clarion processor head, front Hertz 2-component, rear Helix 2-component, sub Kicker 12 ", there is a 5-channel Prologia amplifier for the whole thing, the sound turned out to be very good, hard bass from the front and rear mid bass, quality highs and good low bass from the subwoofer.

There are few photos and not the whole process, then I will add a little more.

As a result, we got high-quality sounding music and additional noise.
It has become quieter, but not much, but the sound of the music has radically changed!

everything is done as always in the country)

And do not say, in the country and with a beer)))

In the Japanese, the caps break. Dismantled xenon, had to remove the front wheel arch liners. Broke several caps. Everything is probably the same with the interior panels. This is scary! And then he himself would have made a noise of the whole car.

The eyes are afraid, but the hands do! The second time I will not survive! On the Japanese, everything is easily disassembled and assembled, while nothing breaks, as, for example, on German cars (there was an experience of disassembly and assembly)!

L
Lavandr 20.12.20

Everything is thoroughly pasted over! Wasn't it scary to disassemble the entire interior yourself?

Pistons break if only they are not removed correctly, as they are reusable! Moreover, there are very few of them in the cabin!

on the wheel arch liners, too, I broke the piston 3 somewhere and learned to take them off!)) now everything is normal)

It's just that after such a layer of Shumkov, I had to push myself hard to screw it back into these holes.

kao666 20.12.20

and what kind of problem with siduha arose after Shumkov?

A
Anton177 20.12.20

This was Shumkov's first experience. I'll redo it a bit later. I won't say how heavy it was, but I did not regret the vibration isolator. And such an oschuschenie that a passenger was added =) The front siduhi stuffed back, after such a layer of insulation.

Inside the doors (where glass and other offal) splen is superfluous, Spoils the sound.
Splan is a sound insulator and should be laid solid, overlapped at the joints, or tightly to each other and glued with electrical tape, so that it works fully.
Is the machine too heavy? Are the front seats back up properly?

I don’t care about weight, she’s not going one dick, I’ll now bother on the topic of noises and creaks. What do you think, can all the claddings be glued with something else from the inside, in order to remove unnecessarily squeaks and cuts of Japanese plastic ?! py.sy. After installing the screws, the cabin just kicked off :)

L
LoneStar 20.12.20

probably 50+ kg) Well done that you make noise yourself) I'm also making noise now, but I've gone a little differently) I'm fighting for weight, I'm very sensitive to it) though the report is still unfinished, like Shumka)

L
LoneStar 20.12.20

not worth it) if it frankly does not interfere) it is light, so I would leave)

A
Anton177 20.12.20

I already understood this, it was just that at that time there was no such knowledge.) Where it does not work out solid, I will remove it nafig.)

L
LoneStar 20.12.20

it just has a sense of working on the principle of glass) the window is large, and the hole was drilled and the whole street can be heard) but it is probably unrealistic to make it like that)

A
Anton177 20.12.20

Spacers front, back and reinforced stubs in the plans. I will re-glue the spleen, where it was glued in scraps. Again, I will disassemble the entire interior, now together with the torpedo, I will do it conscientiously.)

L
LoneStar 20.12.20

I can offer to put a strut of the rear pillars) some of the creaks should go away) but they can crawl out in another place) I myself am suffering))
and so I am making noise) I paste over all the plastic interior with an analogue of a splan, a current based on rubber) I put noise-absorbing material under the skin (analog felt so to speak) well, and glued the vibra in especially "sonorous" places, did not become a solid, + liquid fenders.
The end result is still unknown, as it is unfinished)

L
LoneStar 20.12.20

In general, squeaks can be corrected with a hammer) the current is long) I removed a couple of crickets like that) You are
looking for where it squeaks and
you knock it with a hammer) It is very difficult to find and not everywhere you can knock it out :) by the
way, the floor in the trunk creaked heavily, near the left rear shock absorber a loop is screwed into the floor on the bolt. Here around it 1-3cm if you press, then there was a creak) knocked with a hammer and the cricket left)

from the squeak of plastic? there is a material similar to fabric, self-adhesive on the one hand, glued inside to the fastening parts, it turns out like a seal, weighs nothing, but I don’t remember the name. Friends handled their creaky carts, it seemed to help.

madeleine ...

A
Anton177 20.12.20

splenitis weighs nothing, and it's not really good for him, I think it's fucking rip off. it is still very difficult to glue it, it has a very strong glue surface, you just lean against it, peel off the horseradish and clean it from the glue,
if you make a noise, then with a vibrik of different thickness, layers of 2-3 and solid.

s
somebody 20.12.20

from this and I'm looking for conductive google. everything will hold together and rattle like in an old basin. and splenie dofiga weighs?

tell me the lightest crap so as not to creak, the rest do not care the main thing so that it does not creak and weighs a little

Clearly. Write. If you need help. I’ll tell you. Not god. But there are developments

The first experience ... Then it just finished what and how.

Hmm ... there is not much sense from such noise ...
