I prepared the workplace: I washed the floor, collected the tools available at home: several screwdrivers, flat and cruciform, a set of a young technician, in which, in addition to screwdriver tips, with a universal handle, there is also a knob and heads of different sizes; pliers, wire cutters, heavy duty scissors and a pair of blades. I started with the driver's license, because it is torn stronger. I ripped open the seam in the middle of the back with a blade, it is almost torn anyway, but it makes the job easier.
Using a screwdriver, I pulled out the dermantin from under the headrest clips. Further - more interesting. The upholstery, together with foam rubber, is attached to each other and to the seat with almost thirty wire rings. At first she patiently unwound each one and put it neatly in a box, then I got bored.
Che we, there is not enough wire at home, or what? )) Nippers and pliers were used to remove this metal "debris".
Then, it's time to tighten the nuts, well, more precisely, on the contrary - to unscrew. First I unscrewed the side plastic panels, then the back from the seat, and then the mobile "rail". By the way, I found out why the driver’s driver didn’t follow the rail completely: someone very clever put a piece of iron, in the shape of a tiny rectangle, into the rail mouth. He could not be seen "outside".
It was possible to break the bolt of the driver's seat only on the third attempt, and then, I had to resort to male power;). But someone has already removed the passenger's seat, because the bolt will not even be turned to the end ... who is there a fan of skating with me? ;)
Another couple of bites with wire cutters, and you can try to shoot. She pulled the "skin" over the top, carefully removing the clips that secure the headrests. Long, difficult ... Dirty cursing, I still defeated them! Next, I unhooked the springs and latches from the foam rubber and received four components of the original objects - "covers" made of dermantine and rags, pieces of foam rubber "in shape" like Pop and type Backs, iron frames and a bunch of garbage, rust and petrified peanuts
She herself is still a beauty :)
I washed the frames, wiped them dry, stood on a newspaper, next to them were several “hide papers†... She transferred the patterns
from the resulting pieces onto a black velor cloth. True, the velor is not automobile, but I hope these chairs will last a couple of years.
The color was chosen long ago: black base and yellow-orange large seams; the drawing is also embroidered with yellow-orange threads. Kant is in tune.
Working from home is combined with working in the garage. I sanded the frames (I really wanted to sandblast them, but it didn't work out),
covered with a corrosive primer and painted)
almost as good as new.
She took the old ones. No, I washed them, of course, blew them with air, dried them.
Passenger pulled just as it was.
And I wanted to make my chair a little more comfortable. Cut out to shape and glued pieces of foam rubber on the sides of the seat and back - for lateral support; and made a roller under my lower back (my back is weak :(). While I was pulling it, I thanked myself ten times for giving up the skin because of the complexity and price tag. It
turned out to be neat brand new black seats that I really like.
Then they will change only for buckets :)

In the process of disassembly and assembly, help was required only once - to unscrew the nut that holds the "rail" and the driver's seat seat. She "got used to it" and was too tightly tightened. Everything else is by itself. And she skinned herself and painted the frames. And she pulled on the finished covers, secured with clamps and rings - also herself.
