Understatement - Toyota Corolla, 1.3 L, 1998
For a long time I wanted to underestimate the car, but winter prevented it, but I matured. My standard struts were cut, pumped over, everything unnecessary was cut off and reassembled, the springs remained standard, the rigidity was like on a stool. The main desire for me was to align the thresholds, to be honest, annoying when the ass is lifted up and the headlights shine a meter from the muzzle, and this is a disease for all Corollas in the hatch. Photo so far only from the phone.
Price tag: 10,500 ₽ Mileage: 135,000 kmWell, I exaggerated of course, but there was a very poor light, now it's better.
now I will look after larger discs.
The beauty. Only if the headlights are shining a meter from the muzzle, I would first adjust the headlights :)
I have everything normal with light, I even gave up xenon when I bought it three years ago (now I don’t regret it), and the suspension is still in stock. And it looks good. I'm also going to underestimate -35 mm (I ordered a koni sport kit springs + shock absorbers).
I will not praise my own, but regarding other cars (of different brands), I have a fairly good headlight. very often I travel outside the city, in the polar night (purely northern joke) and do not complain about the illumination of the road.
There is a headlight range control, and it was twisted up as far as possible and the headlights were standing correctly, it's just that the Corollas always have their ass raised higher than the muzzle.
you have already summer (judging by the pictures), and we still have snowdrifts up to the waist))))
and we had up to +42 a week ago. Almost 40 days in a row for +30. From the end of June to the present day ... Plus, smog and crazy humidity in the apartment. And the car is super - you still know the condo!
The stock strut is cut in the middle, and the strut flask is shortened as much as you need + the stem is shortened and the spring cup is digested, then new oil is pumped in and the strut is welded.
