Corollovedists. Tell us what is preferable for the suspension (springs, shock absorbers). - Toyota Corolla, 1.3L, 1998

I'm not sure yet, but judging by the mileage, this is it. There is a need to change the suspension.
The last time the suspension was changed for 170,000 km. She served faithfully and here in front, on the left, a metal creak appeared in the rack, and the spring in the lower cup somehow does not fit correctly.

I wonder who prefers what? For my zhivzhik, products of Bielshine and Kayaba, Monroe, as well as other manufacturers little known to me (such as: Al-ko, Optimal, Quinton Hazel) are available. Where would you stop, how would you motivate?

I'm not going to race against the clock - I'm not an amateur, but sometimes I like to "sink". I am not constrained in funds, but I do not like to overpay for unnecessary functionality. I don’t want to underestimate anything, and most importantly, I don’t want to return to the problem of choosing a suspension earlier than after 80-90 thousand km.

I am grateful for any arguments, arguments and guesses.

This is the same as with ABSs BOSCH and comrades do, and put in almost all cars. The calls to use only the original look especially ridiculous :) Because the original is also not always made by the car manufacturer itself.

I bought myself an original ammort Toyota.
On the Toyota box. On the Toyota packages and on the Ammort themselves, the Cayaba.
Toyota probably does not do them itself.

if you don’t want to feel like on a stool and use the car purely for “civilian” purposes, then you don’t need to put a sport suspension (it costs more, but it doesn’t carry a functional load in everyday driving).
what did you have from the factory? kayaba or toytovo suspension?
I have a kayaba, I'm quite satisfied, with quite aggressive use outside the city and off-road everything is still alive, the suspension from the factory has not changed 100%, but closer to summer, and I will change (((the springs sagged ...
240t. km - quite good result, mine of them ~ 70t km.

on Wednesday at 8 pm at the kirovka (getting the stickers in effect?), we'll meet and see what happened to the suspension, maybe the spring has burst.
it's just that I still have such a moment - the car was going for Italy (I don't know how bad the roads there are), but for some reason the suspension was reinforced, in particular, there is a lower strut from the factory, and somewhere I found on the Internet that all the Corollas that went to Italy were put on a kayaba ... but if for Germany - there is an ordinary Toyota suspension ...

I don’t really know what happened. Most likely, the spring on top just broke off. The shock absorbers themselves are still alive - Toyota's original ones stand and the springs are most likely adapted kayaba (slightly enlarged).
It is necessary to call in to a friend on the lift to clarify the cause of the creak. The behavior has not changed, the suspension works normally, only a creak and a spring strangely standing in the lower support ...

When I was looking for rear shock absorbers, everyone in one voice, without asking anything about the car, said "put the Bilstein on and forget about the shock absorbers in general", read a lot on this topic, the reviews about this company are extremely positive =) everything seems to be great, but I had to wait would have been about a week, so I took my own Motorcraft, which left more than 80 thousand and were in stock

Thank you all, everything cost less blood. I changed the deflectors, bump stops, and springs. Shock absorbers - tight, dry and clean, so they still fit. It became more pleasant to ride, the inexplicable "swimming" along the road was gone. I'm leaving for body painting, let's see what happens

Please tell me which springs I installed!
