Toyota Celica is a very interesting car in revision. Here everyone will find a space for "creativity". Do you want to make a bright exterior? please - various body kits, wheels, spoilers, etc. The interior is also not deprived of attention.
Not enough horses? and there are several ways: to make an evil atmotor, put a tubro-kit or a compressor on an existing motor (of course, the engine will need to be revised) or change the motor to a more efficient and reliable one and, perhaps, do it already :)
I have at my disposal a car with a 2ZZ-GE engine (192hp) and an automatic transmission with the ability to manually shift gears using the buttons on the steering wheel. In appearance, the car is already quite attractive, I would not want to spoil it with showy body kits, bumpers, "dryers", etc. in appearance - I looked after the American body kit from Wings West (the body kit is very similar to TRD, but is made of polyurethane)

can add some vinyl in red-silver tones and that's it.
Refining the hardware will require much more money and time. But again, without a well-thought-out plan, it is better not to take action, so as not to harm your beloved car)
There are 2 ways:
- turbo kit 2zz-ge. Accordingly, you will need a 6MKPP box, since now we go on the machine. BUT aluminum 2zz requires major modifications and when turbocharged, its resource will be significantly reduced.
Therefore, there is another option ...
- replacement of the motor with a 3S-GTE. Of course, while on the front-wheel drive. Very reliable turbo engine. Crazy torque, great potential for improvements. All the same, you need to put the mechanics ... with 3s-gte on the front wheel drive better than E56 with blocking.

similar project has already been made by ToySport ( toysport.ru ), I think Shikana will also cope, especially since there is already repeated experience in installing this motor in other Toyota cars - MR-2 ( makawelly ), Celica ST202.

Of course, do not forget about the reinforcement of the body and more efficient brakes: the Proma kit for the R17 is fine.
