Diagnostics - Toyota Will VS, 1.5 L, 2002
The other day I noticed some unpleasant knock in the area of the front right wheel, but I could not recognize its cause. There were 2 options: 1 - pads, 2 - something with a suspension. I looked at the pads and realized that they would soon feel bad, decided to go and replace them. I also decided to make a diagnosis of the front suspension, after all, the fork ran off in winter. I was not very pleased with the diagnostic result.
1. It is necessary to replace all bushings on the front suspension. For some reason, 4 of them turned out to be, and I found only 2 on Exist (I don't really rummage in cars, so I ask you not to judge me strictly). Can someone tell me where else 2 silent blocks are buried?
2. They said that the front struts also need to be replaced. they are very weak already. So I immediately had a question: Orgyginal or something else? Please advise.
Yesterday I went to the service, find out the cost of the original and a duplicate of "Kayaba", the difference was 1000r per rack. To a question that worries me, a service employee told me not to bother about
purchasing the original and take "Kayaba". He explained this by the fact that the car is not new and the suspension is already pretty worn out. And "Kayaba" makes racks with this in mind. And he also said that when you open the package with the original rack, it will be produced by either "Kayaba" or "Tokico".
After all that I heard, I loaded up and went to think ... And I want to ask you for advice.
on Kayaba I left about 60,000 ... provided that I'm not the most accurate driver + stock unchanged springs, the struts are now dead ... but this is after 2 winters with dead springs and 60 t.km
So I realized that the reason for all this was the rape of the car in the cold.
Take duplicates you will not be disappointed, I made myself takes and I do not regret it for almost 1.5 years already skated until everything is fine (pah-pah-pah), provided that the summer went with a low profile. the only thing for the new season is that the ball current on the one hand needs to be replaced, and then only because of operation in 40 degrees below zero!
I haven't changed it yet) closer to summer) but I don't need to order here - I went and bought it)
But I was just learning about polyurethane yesterday ... Did you order yourself there?
As I understand it, there are still two silent blocks in front. Imagine, I even know how they look :) There are exactly two on the front levers.
In the car service, they considered me to completely replace the levers at 4500 for each plus work =) I found out later that they did not need to be changed all, but only the silent blocks. But I was assured at two service stations that they were not on sale separately. I found everything myself, found out, it turned out that polyurethane is located on the next street from me, which sends out all over Russia via the Internet :)
In general, I'm talking about the fact that there are two of them! :)
=) It happens. It is best to drive into the shaker. And when diagnosing, I prefer those service stations where they are allowed into a pit or under a car together with a master. So that he substantiates his arguments about the silent blocks.
Somehow it didn't work out for me with polyurethane, I went to another service station, they said that all the silent blocks are in order.
