Hello box! (Updated Aug 16) - Toyota Sera, 1.5L, 1990
And everything started so well ...
I went to Exist, took a bunch of multi-colored boxes with incomprehensible Japanese letters, bought some oil, on the advice of members of the forum chose Mobil ATF220 , in general I think - my serka will be happy today!
In the service, everything went ok, left with full pants of happiness, and the automatic
switch became better and the vibrations on the drive were significantly reduced and the CV joints finally changed, as I
got into another car!
Only now the cut-off decreased from the usual 8000rb to 6000rb, then to
5000rb ... I stopped to gasp, because I made a mistake on the throttle valve, which I was dismantling the other day for cleaning, as a result, no more than 2000rb, well, I think it's a
joke, I somehow brought it to the usual 8000rb, it stank than
then the smoke went and does not go forward or backward ... I thought my brains were in a box
with new oil, I removed the terminal, waited until it cooled down a bit,
checked the oil levels, I started it - I went, but really only until the second, and
in neutral! Somehow I got to the yard, it's a pity I realized that
there was no back either, I had to hitch in a corner ...
The next day I phoned a dozen services, the verdict was not comforting
- repairs from 30 to 60t.r. I remembered well about contract spare parts, having
called 3-4 offices, I stopped at "Japan Motors" (18 Khimikov St.), the
price was almost the same as with the others, and only
they gave a guarantee for half a year .
I came to order, the whole organization is a box with
a lift and an office in one room, in general the guys are unclear (although they may
just be tortured, I came to them at 9 pm), but I thought that the scheme for
fraud was unreasonably complicated and not at all massive, and the money was not the
same! Although it is not yet known ... let's see, they promised that the delivery time is from 5 to
30 days ...
PS I had to leave the car with the girl, now we even call up more often, I should know how my beauty is doing there)
04/30/2010
Stood under the windows for almost a month and now the cherished call ...
Hurray, the box has finally been put! Everything works well, I really had to spend money on the original oil, as it turned out, the box was changed not for the first time ...
05/08/2010 I
went to the service, an automatic transmission oil seal was found on the lift, after the holidays I will call, as to the guarantee account ... Something tells me that the number is dead.
05/14/2010
Finally I got through to my "dealers", in general, they always have a phone with something that is not so good, then it is turned off, then they do not take it off all day ...
In general, they said that the oil seal was off me, repairs from them, in principle, honest ...
05/19/2010
I drove in, raised, examined, determined that this phenomenon could not be called a leak, but rather just the sweating of the oil seal. I decided not to change, in the morning I look under the car - while it's dry!
07/30/2010 The
box again said "Hello!", I drove 2800 km on it, I didn't even have time to change the oil ...
I went to my guarantors, looked, at first they said that the oil pump had flown, then they began to sin on the electrician, they say they don't "see" the korobas which gear is selected, some kind of sensor was turned off, it went again, 2 intersections and does not go, it confuses the R and D gears, turn it off and start it up for another minute, it will work normally, in general something incomprehensible ... Now I am looking for a good electrician, if anyone has in mind, share coordinates.
08/16/2010 I
took the car to the Akpp'shniks, the verdict is that the box is dead, we can defect, but you will prove to hell that the fault is not yours ...
In general, I don’t know what to say about "Japan Motors", maybe I was just unlucky, but I went there more not with your foot.
By the way, I turned to another office for the delivery of contract spare parts - "Aisha", so they have not been able to find a manual gearbox from 5e for a month and a half!))
This is the point in the history of automatic machines and sulfur.

You understand how it happens - you wanted the best ...
the same thing happened on the cadet, after changing the oil (((
well, no matter ... now I ride on the five-stage, and before that on 4)))
anything can happen, especially with a car of this year, the main thing is that they bring a normal box!
Uh-huh. And at the same time you think: "When will I begin to understand at least something in this myself ..." People over there are sorting out the engines themselves. I am still far from that. Although ... at such a pace I can soon myself =)
still everyone has their own opinion, which is fundamentally different from the opinion of another mega master, and now you go from service to service, leaving 5p in each for diagnostics and sometimes more for the treatment of the wrong thing, especially electricians and machine gunners.
Well, if they just didn't fix it, they sometimes make it even worse. Several times I've already had this ...
all these would-be specialists have already tortured, there is no longer any strength to fight, it is a pity that he did not immediately put the fur on.
Hyhy, read my BZ. I also thought that I was handing it over to specialists ... At first they explained everything to me correctly, but it turned out that they were not specialists at all, but simply cybers ...
I read it, but I thought that I was going to the specialists and I didn't need to think too much ...
I'm not a specialist in automatic transmission, otherwise I wouldn't have to buy a new one, I also thought what to change, so everything at once ...

In japan motors, they were told not to pour anything other than the original into the box, and to fill it according to the scheme, I drained a liter, filled in a liter, traveled for a couple of days and repeated the operation and so on 4-5 times.
Well, per liter IMHO crap will be complete. If you really change that, then you probably need to drain everything from the pallet into a bucket with marks and see how much you have drained. And then pour the same amount. Take a ride for a couple of days and repeat the operation.
Castrol is rare g compared to the original. And our Toyota original is very similar in color and smell to the original Honda. The color is much richer than pots and other bullshit. It's strange that your machine gun is dead. I sympathize. Remind me which model machine you have?
The original is Toyota, although if you think about it, they don't make it themselves, probably some kind of nippon or castrol! But not changing the oil in the box for a year and a half is probably bad ...
What is the original? I have a Dextron II stamped on the dipstick. Poured Chevron MD-3, type dextron third, sobsno I have been driving it for a year and a half

I had a similar jamb a year and a half ago (though I have Cynos, but they are the same with Sery in this sense). Immediately after changing the oil, the box began to slip, it got under way at about 3-4 thousand rpm. I decided to repair it, in the end it turned out to be not as scary as I thought. The jamb was in the accumulators, it is they who often goat kids after changing the oil.
Sorry, the book is written every 30 thousand times ... but still I haven't done that much yet
