The first changes and advice on the desired :) - Toyota 4Runner, 3.0 liter, 1991

and so. His hood was open on the highway and went inside a little, so the first thing I did, of course, pulled it out. After that, something began to buzz from the passenger side when the ignition was turned off and when the engine was started. Wait seems to have ceased already. I also changed the wipers to normal. True, at a slow pace, they still do not go smoothly, or rather the left current, if you turn it on faster, then it is already smoother. I do not know what it is connected with. The steering wheel is in the wrong position. The mechanic advised me to make it myself, so as not to spend 150 dollars. It will be necessary to study the issue. I would like to change the steering wheel itself, I do not like this wheel. I would also like to know what kind of seats can be put instead of relatives, these are shabby.

By the way, it's kind of good music, the current radio is shitty. Behind a sub and a pair of speakers. I will throw my DVD with Mitsubishi. there I have a normal one, I'll stick my own back.
What would you advise to check and change when purchasing 4 Runners with such mileage? almost 245 thousand miles. The engine seems to have been redone by the previous owner. there really is no evidence.

It may also depend on the country. It may well be that they began to put a pillow for the USA earlier.

maybe they started to put it after restyling? and until 90, I did not observe any rudiments of a pillow.

Yes? It is very strange. They have already bet on them.

there is nothing in the manual about the pillow.

If you don’t have a pillow, then she fired and the steering wheel was changed. This car should have a driver's airbag, unless the equipment is poor for Africa.

there is no pillow in the steering wheel. I analyzed my own (the signal worked every other time), everything is just like ...

Hey.
Well, what would I recommend? Take to the mechanic and check everything you can from the first to the last nut. Judging by the story, the car drove to you thoroughly. If you want the device to serve you for a long time and faithfully, start with a complete check and replacement of everything that only seems out of place or incorrect or inoperative. I'm not saying that half of the car should be changed at once. But a good mechanic will always be able to write you a list of problems if you need to eliminate them, and then you will do something yourself, and something in the workshop.

About replacing the steering wheel. You have a pillow in it. To change it, you need to set a snag for the "airbag" system.
And the seats are easier to pull, and I fully admit that it can come out cheaper than change.

In my opinion, this is an unkillable device, but ... with the proper attitude to it. And then you decide.

Thank you! I somehow did not think about the pillow in the steering wheel))
