DIY white letters on the tires - Toyota Corolla, 1.6 liter, 2002
At the weekend, just at the moment of "changing shoes" of the wheels, I washed my summer kit and with the help of acrylic white paint I highlighted the name of the rubber. It took 1.5-2 hours, but I am undoubtedly pleased with the result.
Now, having seen the result, there is a desire to paint the brake calipers in the same color.
Only brushes were bought. The paint has been around for a long time and it only needs a few grams. Price tag: 50 ₽ Mileage: 128,000 km
The inscriptions are already more than 2 weeks old and at the moment they are 95% preserved - paint began to peel off in several places (it was necessary to take acrylic on textiles / leather). But it seems that this is due to poor surface preparation for painting.
Plus, a couple of days ago, there was a serious contact of the side of the wheel with a high curb, and there was nothing like cutting off the paint - the disc was scratched there - it's a shame ... even the rim protector did not help.
But in everything one must see the advantages. This is another reason to think about repainting discs in white earlier.
Hello, I can recommend you the Wall & Band tire styling complex. It is the only one that has no analogues today. All tire paints found on ebay or other sites are one-component. And the reason for their darkening is the migration of soot from the rubber composition. Our complex consists of 3 components, and each of them performs its function, as one of them is designed to block migration from rubber.
So if necessary, we can send. Details can be found at www.wallandband.com
Looks great, I want to do the same for myself, I just haven't chosen an elastic band for the summer
