Timing, oil change - Toyota Camry, 1.8 l., 1998
Recently I changed the oil, the mileage was already approaching, I changed the synthetics from Visko 5000 to the Castle mineral water with oil suction, they connected some kind of pribluda, which squeezes all the oil out of the engine.
the master accidentally noticed one bolt of the plastic timing case cover that had been loosened, bent it back a little and saw a cracked timing belt in the gap, which he immediately informed me and showed me.
a few days later I gave them the car for 3 hours to replace the entire group: belt, tensioners, oil seals.
- Oil filter Original - 350r
- Castle oil 1000r
- Oil change + air = 600r
- Timing belt + tensioners + oil seals + replacement + 100,000km warranty. ~ 6 5000r
the most interesting thing: before the replacement there were whistles barely noticeable, after they disappeared, but the capacity is now rrrr - growls noticeably (continuation about the noise here:
www.drive2.ru/cars/toyota...urnal/4062246863888334132 ), at idle like the rules, but you just have to click on the gazulku, especially noticeable when you move quickly from the intersection. They say capacity 4S itself is noisy, and of course it has wear and tear.
